Description
Butterflies have been a recurring theme in Alexis’s work since she first started pottery. Their symbolism of transformation and metamorphosis is the perfect metaphor for Alexis’s work.
Recently, Alexis has found herself diving into illustrations, inspired by folk art, with butterflies once again finding their way to the center.
Each mug is hand-painted with particular attention to detail. All illustrations are completely free-hand, making each mug entirely unique from another. A butterfly mug is the perfect way to add a whimsical touch to your morning coffee :)
Each mug holds approximately 10-12 oz of liquid.
Made with a speckled stoneware clay body and lead-free, food-safe glaze.
Care
All ceramic cups, mugs, and dinnerware are food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe.
